Grades will be assigned with the following weights (I use a weighted average, rather than points):
Tests: 30% of class grade (37.5% of pre-final grade) |
A: 90-100% |
Homework: 15% of class grade (18.75% of pre-final grade) |
B: 80-89% |
Quizzes: 30% of class grade (37.5% of pre-final grade) |
C: 70-79% |
Prefinal Grade: 75% of class grade (100% of pre-final grade) |
D: 60-69% |
F: 59% and below |

Final Exam: 25% of class grade- You MUST earn at least 65% on the final exam to pass the course with a C |
W: Withdraw Passing |
Class Grade: 100% of grade |
Y: Withdraw Failing * |
